The protection of your personal data is of particular importance to us. We therefore process your data exclusively based on legal regulations (DSG 2018, GDPR, TKG 2003). This privacy policy informs you about the most important aspects of data processing in connection with our website.

Please read this statement carefully, as it explains how we collect, process, and store your personal data. Every access to our website and every retrieval of a file stored on it is logged. This logging serves internal system-related and statistical purposes. The following information is logged: name of the accessed file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, web browser, requesting domain, IP address of the requesting computer, search terms, (...)*. We process and store all personal data you provide to us in the context of email inquiries (e.g., name, address, email address, phone number, etc.) to carry out the requested contact and to maintain customer relationships. These data are stored until you submit a written request for deletion.

Additional personal data are only collected if you voluntarily provide them, for example, in the context of an inquiry, registration, contract conclusion, or through your browser settings. If we share data with external service providers, appropriate technical and organizational measures are taken to ensure compliance with legal data protection regulations.

1. Contact with Us

1.1. When you contact us via email, the information you provide is stored to process your inquiry and in case follow-up questions arise.

1.2. We do not share this data without your consent unless it is necessary for contract fulfillment or pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude a contract with you. This also applies to applications sent via email.

2. Access Data/Server Log Files

2.1. The provider (or its webspace provider) collects data about website access (so-called server log files). Access data includes: name of the accessed website, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited website), IP address, and the requesting provider.

2.2. The provider uses the log data solely for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security, and optimization of the website. However, the provider reserves the right to review the log data subsequently if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on specific evidence.

3. Handling of Personal Data

3.1. We automatically collect and store information in server log files that your browser transmits to us. This includes: browser type/version, operating system used, referrer URL (the previously visited page), hostname of the accessing computer (IP address), and time of the server request. This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals by the provider. These data are not merged with other data sources and are used solely for statistical evaluations.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device via your browser. We use cookies to make our website user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them, allowing us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

4.1. If you do not want this, you can configure your browser to notify you about the setting of cookies and allow them only on a case-by-case basis. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

4.2. Session Cookie (local): This is a technical cookie that stores user actions within a website. It is deleted when you leave the website.

4.3. How to Disable, Delete, or Block Cookies: Our website allows you to enable or disable individual cookies as described below. However, please note that disabling cookies may prevent full use of the website.

5. Web Analytics

5.1. Our website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics, provided by Google Inc. (“Google”), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Cookies are used to enable analysis of website usage by users. The information generated is transferred to the provider’s server and stored there. For more information on how user data is handled by Google Analytics, see Google’s privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en

5.2. You can prevent this by configuring your browser to not store cookies. The information generated by cookies about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transferred to a Google server and stored there. Google uses this information to evaluate website usage and compile reports on website activities. We use this information exclusively for our own market research and to optimize the website’s design.

5.3. Google may transfer this information to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with other data. You can prevent cookie installation by adjusting your browser settings, though this may limit the full functionality of the website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data collected about you by Google as described above and for the stated purpose.

5.4. If you do not want your anonymized data used for website analytics, you can use this deactivation tool: GA-OptOut.

5.5. Data processing is based on our legitimate interest or that of a third party for the purpose of maintaining the website and improving our services. The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission (in the case of the USA: “Privacy Shield”).

5.6. Data processing is also based on the legal provisions of § 96 (3) TKG and Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest under the GDPR is to improve our offerings and website.

6. IP Anonymization

We use the “IP Anonymization” function. This means your IP address is truncated by Google within EU member states or other contracting states of the EEA before being transmitted. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the website operator, Google uses this information to evaluate your website usage, compile reports on website activities, and provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser via Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.
