We have state-of-the-art ultrasound devices, including an additional high-resolution 18 MHz probe for evaluating the smallest structures.

Abdomen/upper abdomen: Please note the special preparation instructions!
Your attending physician has referred you for an ultrasound examination of the upper abdomen. This allows us to assess the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and spleen. To ensure that the examination area can be seen clearly, please follow these preparation recommendations:
Please do not eat for 4 hours before the examination and drink only water. Please do not smoke or consume any fatty drinks (milk!) for 2 hours before the examination.
While you lie on your back, we examine the upper abdominal organs with the ultrasound device. You will be asked to take a deep breath and hold it so that the liver moves down from the rib cage into the abdominal cavity, making it easier to see. The examination is completely painless – it usually takes less than 10 minutes.
Your attending physician has referred you for an ultrasound examination of the entire abdomen. This allows us to assess the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and spleen, as well as the internal organs of the pelvis and both kidneys.
To ensure that the examination area can be seen clearly, please follow these preparation recommendations:
Please do not eat for 4 hours before the examination, drink plenty of water, and do not urinate, so that your bladder is completely full. Please do not smoke or consume any fatty drinks (milk!) for 2 hours before the examination.

While you lie on your back, we examine the lower abdominal organs with the ultrasound device. The examination is completely painless – it usually takes less than 5 minutes.
X-ray examinations and bone density measurements are performed immediately – without prior booking – between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. For all other examinations (CT / Computed Tomography, MRI / Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Mammography, Ultrasound / Sonography, Fully Digital Fluoroscopy, X-ray Pain Therapy, IVP / Kidney X-ray), please book an appointment by phone.
