Your attending physician has referred you for an ultrasound examination. This allows us to assess the desired region using ultrasound. The examination is painless and easy to perform.

We are equipped with state-of-the-art ultrasound devices, including a high-resolution 18 MHz probe for evaluating the smallest structures.

The Most Common Regions for Our Ultrasound Examinations:

Ultrasound of the Upper Abdomen

Your attending physician has referred you for an ultrasound examination of the upper abdomen. This allows us to assess the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and spleen. To ensure the examination area is clearly visible, please follow these preparation recommendations:

Preparation for Upper Abdomen Sonography

Please refrain from eating for 4 hours before the examination and drink only water. Additionally, please avoid smoking and consuming fatty beverages (e.g., milk) for 2 hours before the examination.

Sonography - Examination Procedure:

While lying on your back, we examine the upper abdominal organs using the ultrasound device. You will be asked to take a deep breath and hold it to move the liver from the chest into the abdominal cavity, making it more visible. The examination is completely painless and typically takes less than 10 minutes

Ultrasound of the Abdomen

Your attending physician has referred you for an ultrasound examination of the entire abdomen. This allows us to assess the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, internal pelvic organs, and both kidneys.

To ensure the examination area is clearly visible, please follow these preparation recommendations:

Preparation for Abdomen Sonography

Please refrain from eating for 4 hours before the examination, drink plenty of water, and do not urinate to ensure a full bladder. Additionally, please avoid smoking and consuming fatty beverages (e.g., milk) for 2 hours before the examination.

Your attending physician has referred you for an ultrasound examination of the lower abdomen. This allows us to assess the internal pelvic organs.

To ensure the examination area is clearly visible, please follow these preparation recommendations:

Preparation for Lower Abdomen Sonography

Please drink plenty of water before the examination and do not urinate to ensure a full bladder. This makes the bladder and other lower abdominal organs significantly easier to assess.

Sonography - Examination Procedure:

While lying on your back, we examine the lower abdominal organs using the ultrasound device. The examination is completely painless and typically takes less than 5 minutes.
