In our practice, we use the latest 3D tomosynthesis technology from Siemens to image the breast. Unlike a single image typically used, a series of 1mm layered images of the breast is created.
This method increases cancer detection rates by 20-30% while reducing the number of false-positive findings.
Due to its high diagnostic accuracy, an ultrasound examination is often not necessary.
By using the highly innovative artificial intelligence system Transpara, we further support our two radiology specialists in interpreting results. This allows mammography images to be analyzed with greater precision, making even the smallest carcinomas significantly easier to detect.

If neither mammography nor ultrasound provides a clear diagnosis, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is the best choice. It allows for the non-invasive (without tissue sampling) identification of malignant tumors.
