X-ray pain therapy is conducted in a series of 3 individual sessions (on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), with each irradiation lasting only a few seconds.
At the start of the therapy, pain may initially intensify before gradually subsiding. The full effect often becomes noticeable 3 to 4 weeks after treatment and can last for years. Other medical treatments are not affected.
The wear and tear itself does not change, and calcifications remain. However, the inflammatory tissue reaction decreases, and the pain subsides.
X-ray examinations and bone density measurements are performed immediately – without prior booking – between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. For all other examinations (CT / Computed Tomography, MRI / Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Mammography, Ultrasound / Sonography, Fully Digital Fluoroscopy, X-ray Pain Therapy, IVP / Kidney X-ray), please book an appointment by phone.
