X-ray pain therapy is given in a series of 3 individual sessions (on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday); the irradiation itself takes only a few seconds.
At the beginning of the therapy, the pain may initially get worse before gradually subsiding. The full effect often sets in only 3 to 4 weeks after the treatment, but can then last for years. Other drug therapies are not affected.
The wear and tear itself does not change, and calcifications remain. However, the inflammatory tissue overreaction decreases and the pain goes away.
X-ray examinations and bone density measurements are performed immediately – without prior booking – between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. For all other examinations (CT / Computed Tomography, MRI / Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Mammography, Ultrasound / Sonography, Fully Digital Fluoroscopy, X-ray Pain Therapy, IVP / Kidney X-ray), please book an appointment by phone.
