You have been referred by your doctor for a Computed Tomography (CT) examination.
During a CT scan, cross-sectional images of the examination area are created using X-rays. The procedure is completely painless and takes only a few minutes.
For some examinations, it is necessary to assess the blood flow in the examination area. This is achieved by administering iodine-based contrast medium into a vein.
With every examination, you will receive a free DVD containing a digital copy of your entire CT scan. You can view this scan on any Windows PC, and the included reporting software, also provided free on the DVD, starts automatically when the DVD is inserted into the PC drive.

If you have a thyroid condition, please inform us during registration.
Please bring any existing X-ray images and prior reports to your CT examination!
Diabetics taking oral antidiabetic medications should inform us during registration, as it may be necessary to discontinue the medication beforehand.
X-ray examinations and bone density measurements are performed immediately – without prior booking – between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. For all other examinations (CT / Computed Tomography, MRI / Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Mammography, Ultrasound / Sonography, Fully Digital Fluoroscopy, X-ray Pain Therapy, IVP / Kidney X-ray), please book an appointment by phone.
